The best cricket club in the Bristol area…even if we do say so ourselves.

Men’s Saturday Cricket

We have four men’s teams playing league cricket every Saturday throughout the summer. 2017 was a forgettable season with the 1st and 3rd XIs both suffering the unfortunate ignominy of relegation. 2018 brings an opportunity for both to bounce back however, with the 2s looking to build on their stronger showing in Division 2 last year and the 4s seeking to continue to have fun, bring some youngsters through, and enjoy a cider or two along the way.

For 2018, our 1st XI will play in the Bristol and District Senior Division and the 2nd XI in Division 2 of the Bristol and District League.

The 3rd XI and 4th XI will be in B&D Divisions 10 and 14 respectively.

Sunday Cricket

As usual, the club will be entering the ECB National Club Championship and the local 20-20 competition.

The Sunday League XI will be playing a mixture of friendlies after withdrawing from the Three Counties League following its decision to focus more on T20 cricket. We will instead be playing more T20 friendlies in midweek, saving Sundays for longer games.

Ladies Cricket

Our Ladies team play in the GCB competitive league which offers the ability to play 20-35over matches. Please contact Steph if you would like to know more about women’s cricket at OBWCC.

Youth Cricket

The club runs a highly successful Youth section and organises Cricket for 7-year-olds up to Under-17s. A season rarely passes without significant success in either league or cup competitions. If you’re interested in getting involved, contact our Youth Cricket Secretary, Alex Harris.
